Creativity is a bridge

Art is the bridge between what you see and what you feel.

Hey Reader

I experience life, create from it, and share what I discover along the way.

Through art, words, and storytelling, I process what I am living and give others a way to see themselves in the work.

The things I create are not just expressions of my journey, they are invitations for you to connect with your own.

Whether it is a sketch, a painting, a book, or a conversation, my work is meant to help unlock ideas, feelings, and creative sparks you may not have realized you were carrying.

I believe creativity is a bridge.

A way to understand yourself and the world around you.

A way to move closer to the things that matter most.

This is my calling, but it is also my business. When you purchase my art or books, hire me to sketch live at your event, or bring me in to lead a creative workshop, you are investing in more than a product or service. You are inviting an experience that can shift how you see yourself and your world.

If you are ready to bring that into your life, your home, or your next event, here is where to start:

Keep creating,

~ Mike Brennan

P.S. How can I help you through what I create?

It's not what you think. Hey Reader You’re not short on ideas. You’re not lacking passion. You’re not lazy. But still, your creative work isn’t where you want it to be. Maybe you’re stuck starting and stopping.Maybe you're scattered, always busy but never moving forward.Maybe you're not sure what “results” even look like anymore. This isn’t a discipline issue. It’s a clarity and support issue.Because when you're on your own, it’s easy to spin in circles. But imagine this: You show up...

A woman playfully adjusts a man's red sweater while asking, "Why so serious?" A hashtag #LightsCameraChristmas and Hallmark Channel logo are visible at the top corners of the image.

Tag. You're it. Hey Reader Remember when you were a kid, and every day felt like a big experiment? You didn’t overthink things. You just played, built, destroyed, and rebuilt until you made something awesome—or at least had fun trying. Somewhere along the way, we were told to get serious. (Insert eye-roll here.) Here’s the thing: serious is overrated. Experimentation and play are the keys to creative growth. In my book, Make Fun A Habit, I talk about how embracing a playful mindset doesn’t...

But I let go. Hey Reader I quietly hit publish on something that’s been with me for a long time. Blue: A Story of Letting Go is now available. It’s a small book. But it holds something big.I first wrote the words three years ago and tucked them away in the Notes app on my phone. I wasn’t sure if anyone else would ever read them. It started as something personal. A quiet reminder to myself about love, loss, and the courage it takes to let go of what we wish we could keep. Bringing it to life...
